Barclays Premier League Trophy Comes To Cannock

The prestigious Barclays Premier League Trophy is to make a very special appearance in Cannock next week. The famous Newlife superstore will play host to a football spectacular to raise money for disabled children. From 3pm to 9pm on Friday 13 February, luck is set to change for many, as the Barclays Premier League Trophy will be in the Newlife Superstore. For just £9.99, visitors will be invited to experience an exclusive close up of the famous Trophy, and walk away on the day with a souvenir photograph, taken and printed on site by a professional photographer. Mrs Sheila Brown OBE is CEO of the Newlife Foundation. She says “I am delighted to have been able to secure this special experience for all local football fans. It really is a coup bringing this fantastic Trophy to Cannock and we hope to use the event to raise funds to give more disabled and terminally ill children the vital equipment they need. I am sure both children and adults will enjoy seeing and having a special photo, on what will be for many, a once in a lifetime opportunity. We have chosen a time slot of 3pm to 9pm to allow both after school and after work visits so there is ample opportunity to take part”. Tight security will surround the visit to Cannock as footballing greats and legends including Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane, Tony Adams, John Terry, Paul Ince and Eric Cantona have previously held the Trophy above their heads after winning the Premier League. With the Barclays Premier League Trophy currently belonging to Manchester United for the second consecutive year, top footballers across the country are waiting for the next chance to raise it in a moment of glory, but before they do, football fans across Staffordshire will have the opportunity to view the Trophy at the Newlife Superstore. To guarantee your place at this special event, a limited number of callers can pre-book time slots between 3pm to 4pm, for just £5.00 pre-payment. From 4pm- 9pm visits will be on a first come first serve basis and interest is expected to be high. Further details and time slots can be booked by phoning Estelle Willetts or Phil Morgan on 01543 468 888.
