To celebrate Newlife’s 25th anniversary, the team at the River Island store in Burnley have raised over £1,200 for Newlife after organising a fun-filled month of fundraising activities.

These fundraising events included a football match, a raffle and a cake sale. Adam Browne, manager of the Womenswear department, also decided to do a charity run between the Burnley and Rochdale River Island stores.

Regional Fundraising & Awareness Manager in Lancashire, Claire Kelly, said: “I’d like to thank Adam and the team for their amazing support so far. The inspiring team are already busy planning their next fundraising event to help even more children living in Lancashire and are waiting for Newlife’s help.”

Many River Island stores across the country are organising various fundraising activities to celebrate River Island and Newlife Foundation working together for the past 25 years.
