BURTON MP PRAISES NEWLIFE

Burton MP Andrew Griffiths has praised the Newlife retail outlet in Uttoxeter.

Mr Griffiths MP said: “I was bowled over by the innovative work of Newlife. Not only is it raising thousands of pounds to help seriously and terminally-ill children, it is also helping the environment, serving business and providing value for money clothes for local people. Everybody wins all around and I hope it goes from strength to strength.”

The Uttoxeter shop opened at the end of 2011 and complements the Newlife Superstore and Newlife at Home stores in Hemlock Way, Cannock.

Newlife CEO Sheila Brown, OBE, said: “Our shops exist purely to generate funds for the charity as our aim is to help every single disabled child and their family to get the special care and direct help they need. I am so pleased that Mr Griffiths was able to see what we are doing – his support means a lot.”
