Event Management students from the University of Derby are inviting film-goers to a charity fundraising screening of the Wizard of Oz at 3pm and 6pm on 11 April, the first day of the Buxton Film Festival, at the Pavilion Arts Centre.

As well as hosting a screening of this classic fantasy film, there will also be special events taking place around the Arts Centre to add to the family fun, including face painting, a balloon maker, or photos with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman or the Cowardly Lion. Popcorn and candy floss will be served as well. You can book tickets by emailing movienightbuxton@gmail.com or you can buy tickets everyday on the reception of the Dome in Buxton or every Monday at 7pm at Pavilion Arts Centre.

All proceeds donated to Newlife will be spent on providing specialist equipment to children with disabilities or terminal illness in Derbyshire.
