Cannock Retailer Brings New Life To Your Home This Autumn

One of Cannock’s most thriving businesses is bucking the national recessional trend by opening a new outlet. Newlife, in Hemlock Way, Cannock will launch its dedicated home wares outlet called ‘Newlife at Home’ on Saturday 23rd October. The new site will also sell a wide variety of goods for every room of the home and garden. New stock will be released every single day and will include soft furnishings, rugs, linen, mirrors kitchen goods, furniture, designer items, luggage, small electrical items and much more items. All goods have been donated by leading retailers. The new store is on the site of the former Maymies Nightclub, in Hemlock Way, Cannock, across the road from the current superstore site. And all profits from the venture will be used to help disabled and terminally-ill children as profits will be donated to Newlife Foundation for Disabled Children which works nationally. Local MP Aidan Burley and his partner TV fashion expert Helen Boyle will open the store at 11am, which marks a new venture for Newlife. The couple have recently set up home together locally. He says: “It is a honour and a privilege to open any new business in such challenging economic times as these, so I really do take my hat off to Sheila and the Newlife team. What they do is fantastic on so many levels – providing employment locally, helping get the long term and disabled back into work, raising huge amounts of money for disabled children and of course providing fantastic deals for local shoppers. “Helen and I have just moved into our home in Heath Hayes, so will certainly be on the lookout for a bargain or two to help furnish it. As a fashion expert I suspect Helen will find her way into the clothes store too. I shall have to remember to hide my credit card!” Newlife CEO Sheila Brown OBE says: “The recession has meant that people are on the lookout for a bargain and we have always been able to offer this to our customers for their clothing and accessories. Now we are branching out into a dedicated site for household items which means we can keep delivering the same quality to more people. The items are donated solely from retailers so we can guarantee quality and good prices. This is a new exciting adventure for us and we’re encouraging you to come and visit and make Newlife at Home a new start for you and your home.” The store will create new jobs locally and open Monday to Fridays from 11am – 7pm, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays 11am – 5pm. During the opening weekend everyone making a purchase will get a free gift in store. Call 01543 462888 for details or see www.newlifetrading.co.uk for details.
