CHRISTMAS ON BROADWAY

An evening of festive fun at Broadway Pharmacy in Preston raised an amazing £625 for Newlife to help local children with disabilities or terminal illness.

The event in early December came after The Lancashire Post reported how six-year-old Luca Gardiner’s life had been transformed by a wheelchair from the Newlife as part of their appeal to help the charity raise more than £15,000 to help other local children receive the specialist equipment they need.

As well as wine and nibbles, the event included raffles, a Newlife Sparkle sale for people to snap up jewellery donated by high street retailers – and of course the chance to meet Father Christmas.  All this was held to the sound The Broughton Choir singing Christmas Carols.

Broadway Pharmacy staff support Luca Gardiner with his medications and the event was supported by local businesses including Broadway Pantry, Broadway Hairstylist, Tony’s Hair Salon, AM1, Sole & Beauty, Another Bouquet, Elementum, Vichy, GHD and Ringtone.

Newlife thanks Luca, his family and all at Broadway Pharmacy for their wonderful support making  the event such a success.
