Herringthorpe United Reform Church, near Rotherham, is hosting two fantastic events this summer to raise vital funds for Newlife the Charity for Disabled Children.

It kicks off with the annual Stag Festival: Hog Roast and Fun Day on Saturday 24 June, from 11am until 2pm, with plenty of games, face painting and refreshments. The following month, on Saturday 29 July, folk group The Gastrick Band will be performing at 2pm. Tickets cost £7.50 and include afternoon tea.

This is part of the church’s ongoing fundraising efforts over the next two years with money raised being donated to three different charities, with one being Newlife. All proceeds donated to Newlife will be spent on providing specialist equipment to disabled and terminally ill children in South Yorkshire.
