The Thomas family from Morda near Oswestry enjoyed a great night out at the circus earlier this week, thanks to Newlife working in partnership with Circus Starr.

The show, which was in Shrewsbury on Monday, showcases world-class circus acts in a relaxed Big Top atmosphere. By invitation only, it gives children with disabilities an opportunity to enjoy all the fun of the circus.

Mum Lisa Thomas, whose four-year-old son Thomas has Muscular Dystrophy and Global Developmental Delay, said after the show: “My family and I can’t thank Newlife and Circus Starr enough for not only the tickets to the circus but for the amazing hospitality provided to our family. As it was our first ever circus we weren’t sure what to expect but wow!! It was fantastic. Watching our children with the biggest smiles on their faces bought a tear to mine and my partner’s eyes. Thank you for our special night.”

Tickets for this and several other shows during this autumn’s Circus Starr tour have been provided to Newlife families, thanks to our current links with the circus which includes hosting special audience collections to help support children needing specialist equipment.
