DONATION IN MEMORY OF DANIEL

In memory of Daniel Butler, from Tamerton Foliot in Plymouth, his family has donated £575 to Newlife, to help disabled and terminally ill children in Devon.

Daniel was himself disabled, with microcephaly, and passed away in July at the age of 32. His dad Paul Butler, who runs Tamerton Village Stores, said: “He was a very special boy and was dearly loved by many people.

“As a legacy to my dear son I decided to collect donations for Newlife, as from experience I know how difficult it can be caring for children with disabilities. I would like to thank everyone who supported the collection.”

Every penny of the donation will be used to help provide specialist equipment for a child or children in Devon.
