Regional Fundraiser at Newlife Claire Kelly met with children and their families from Greater Manchester at the Krispy Kreme Donut Factory, along with Linda Miles, Director of The Brian Kennedy Trust, which recently made a generous donation to fund essential equipment for these children.

The families received a tour of the factory and were shown how donuts were made – they even had a go at making and decorating their own!

Claire Kelly said: “It was lovely to meet up with Linda and the families so we can all see what a huge difference the grant has made to their lives. We also had the chance to showcase the Play Therapy Pod toys and increase awareness of how we can help children with disabilities or terminal illness in Greater Manchester.

“We really appreciate all the support and donations we’ve received in the region, including Krispy Kreme placing collection cans in their outlets. A lovely day was had by all!”
