Followers of fashion raised almost £7,000 at a glittering event organised to help disabled children.
The event was held at the five-star Marriott Hotel, in Grosvenor Square, London, on Monday 19th March, in aid of Newlife Foundation for Disabled Children.
Fronted by TV fashion stylist Helen Boyle and attended by representatives of leading City businesses the event featured clothing and accessories supplied by Newlife’s unique recycling and retail operation.
The London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Squareis one of a series of Marriotts across the country currently fundraising for Newlife Foundation.
Newlife CEO Sheila Brown, OBE, said: “It’s fantastic that so much money was raised and it will all be used to purchase equipment for disabled and terminally-ill children. This equipment can revolutionise a child’s life – so I am especially thankful to the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square.”
