GIVE A SANTA THRONE A HOME

Article date: 09/10/12 These thrones are now not available.

Can you give a Santa throne a special home? If so, leading UK children’s disability charity Newlife Foundation would like to hear from you.

The Staffordshire-based charity has received a secret email from Santa, who is giving his North Pole headquarters a major makeover. As a result, he is getting rid of several special Santa thrones currently dotted around his giant grotto.

Old St Nick himself has asked Newlife to recycle the unique super-size thrones – he’s put on a bit of weight lately! – by offering them to any interested individuals, organisations, schools or businesses around the country. They go on sale today – log on to https://bit.ly/NewlifeEbay – and the proceeds will be used to help create a bit of additional Christmas cheer by funding vital specialist equipment for disabled and terminally ill children.

Newlife has 18 thrones – five with footstools; offers start at £199 per throne, £249 with a footstool. But if you don’t want to wait to see if yours is a winning bid, you can secure a throne now for £500, or £600 with a footstool. All items must be collected from Newlife’s Cannock HQ.

And who knows, if you have one of them in your home, office or business, you might even spot Santa taking a well-earned break in familiar surroundings on Christmas Eve . . .

About Newlife:

Newlife’s Nurse Helpline – 0800 902 0095 – offers information and practical support for families of disabled and terminally ill children. The Helpline is also the gateway to applying for Equipment Grants; to date, Newlife has awarded over £7million to more than 5,000 children across the UK.
