Want to take part in the Adidas Half Marathon in March but missed the registration deadline? Well, a leading children’s disability charity still has a limited number of places available for Midlands runners.

Newlife Foundation for Disabled Children has a handful places up for grabs by individual competitors or group entries – but you will have to move fast to get one! There is no registration fee, but runners are asked to raise a minimum of £300 sponsorship for Newlife – 100 per cent of which can be ring-fenced to help provide specialist equipment for disabled and terminally ill children in the county of their choice.

The 13.1-mile event takes place at Silverstone racetrack in Northamptonshire on Sunday 2 March.
