John Lewis in the Trafford Centre has donated £3,600 to fund four Comfort Capsules and build further on its commitment and support for Newlife Foundation.

The Comfort Capsules contain practical items and resources to meet the emotional needs of families who are caring for a child with terminal illness. This helps give families the opportunity to build and treasure memories.

Carole Hartley, who oversees the community liaison & community matters schemes at the Trafford Centre, said: “We are glad our donation to fund four Comfort Capsules will make a huge difference to families. Hopefully Christmas can come early for families who can create lifelong memories through our generosity.”
