LICHFIELD SOROPTOMIST DONATE £300 TO NEWLIFE

Volunteers from the Lichfield Soroptomist group have made a generous donation of £309 to Newlife the Charity for Disabled Children.

The money will go towards funding a Play Therapy Pod for 0-18 month olds. The pods are specialist developmental toys that are loaned to families to stimulate their child’s senses and help families to play together. They teach children important social and physical skills; improving their confidence and development.

The ladies have also been donating their time by volunteering at the Newlife Opportunity Centre in Cannock and de-labelling items to be sold in Newlife stores across Staffordshire and Derbyshire. Click here to find out more about volunteering opportunities.
