Students at Maltby Academy in Rotherham held a jewellery sale and arranged a sponsored walk to raise money for Newlife Foundation, which has been chosen as its Charity of the Year.

The year 10 students, from Bede House, painted their faces and dressed in blue as it’s their ‘house’ colour and matches the Newlife logo. They are also arranging bake sales and more fun activities as part of their fundraising efforts.

Any money raised will go towards helping children with disabilities or terminal illness in South Yorkshire.
