NCS GRADUATES INCREASE AWARENESS FOR NEWLIFE

Keep a look out on 5th March when four teams of 10 National Citizen Service (NCS) graduates will be heading out into Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield and Mansfield to tell 25 people about Newlife Foundation’s work and challenge them to do the same.

The challenge is part of NCS Action Day on 5th March, where dedicated NCS Graduates deliver a social action project for a worthwhile cause. In this case, they’ve chosen to increase awareness of how Newlife Foundation helps children with disabilities or terminal illness across the UK.

Last summer, NCS team ‘ignite’ from Derby College raised over £900 for Newlife through various fundraising activities, including holding a car wash, sponsored leg wax and sponsored walk.
