Newlife Book Success

Since launching their Book Trade-In Scheme, Newlife has received donations of over 2,000 books from local supporters. The scheme, operating from the Newlife at Home store on Hemlock Way, Cannock, gives a shopping voucher in return for every book donated. The scheme is a big success says CEO, Sheila Brown, OBE. “It’s great news for our supporters who are rewarded with vouchers, good for the charity as we get more books to sell, good for our customers who like a good read at a great price, great for the environment as any unusable or damaged books are recycled for their raw materials and it’s fantastic for the disabled children helped through Newlife Foundation.” Newlife is still receiving good clean books and a 50p voucher to use in the home store is awarded for each book donation made. Anyone interested in donating more books can bring them to the Newlife at Home store between 10am and 7pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm on Saturday’s and 11am to 5pm on Sunday’s.

We work together every day to make a difference and create a better future for disabled children.
