Newlife To Provide Free Supplies For Cannock

Local children’s charity, Newlife Foundation for Disabled Children, is giving away hundreds of items of continence wear free to individuals and families with sick and disabled children this weekend. The charity recently undertook a large donation of continence supplies including comforters, pads, pants, and bed protectors from a leading brand, and has decided to give them away in support of residents and charitable organisations within the Staffordshire area. These are just some of the latest products donated to the charity that also receives a frequent stock of clothing and home wear items from top high street stores, all available for purchase from the Newlife Superstore in Hemlock Way, Cannock. For those interested in the free supplies, individuals are invited to collect the products from Unit 9, The Cedars Business Park, Cannock, on Saturday 25 October any time between 10am and 2pm, free of charge, as will not for profit organisations such as hospitals and old people’s homes. Other items will also be available for both men and women, to profit making organisations for a small charge of 99p per pack. Mrs Sheila Brown OBE, Chief Executive of Newlife says: “With the current economic climate, many families are struggling to finance necessities and the vulnerable are feeling the pinch as they rely heavily on additional equipment to enable them to live an easier life.
