PLYMOUTH FUNDRAISERS RAISE OVER £2.5K FOR NEWLIFE

Staff in the Child Maintenance group at the Department for Work and Pensions centre in Plymouth have raised over £2,500 so far throughout 2017 for its charity of the year, Newlife the Charity for Disabled Children.

These fabulous fundraisers have raised £1,523 by holding fundraising activities, such as dress down days, tombola’s and jewellery sales. In addition, fellow staff member Jess Wellington – whose extended family members were helped by Newlife with a specialist car seat and specialist seating – is running the London Marathon in aid of Newlife and has raised £1,011 to date. Donations can be made at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/jessiewellington

All money raised from the group will go towards helping even more disabled and terminally ill children in Devon and Cornwall.
