SALFORD CITY COLLEGE TEAM UP WITH BARCLAYS TO RAISE OVER £5K

Students and staff at Salford City College in Pendleton raised £5,480 from a sale for Newlife, which was match funded by Barclays in Manchester.

The money raised will go towards supplying specialist equipment for children with disabilities or terminal illness in Greater Manchester.

Gill Taylor & Dawn Monks, Progress Leaders at the college, said: “We were amazed at the support from our students who volunteered their time to support the event.”

Claire Matlock, Assistant Branch Manager at Barclays, said: “We loved helping at the event and supporting such a worthy cause. We are already planning to support future events throughout the year – with our match funding, we aim to help twice as many children in Greater Manchester.”
