SIXTH FORM ENTREPRENEURS SUPPORT NEWLIFE

Students in the second year of the Horizons 6th Form in Derby, based at The Guildhall, have been working together to create and sell gift bags from boxes of broken jewellery.

The students have been using the scrap jewellery as part of their course to learn more about Entrepreneurship. So far, they have raised £90.97 from bag sales which will go towards helping children with disabilities or terminal illness in Derbyshire.

Horizons 6th form is an innovative provision for students with statements of special needs that allows them to complete vocational and enterprise projects as well as a functional skills/skills for life programme of study.
