TAKE THE CHASE CHALLENGE . . . AND HELP LOCAL CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES

Newlife Foundation for Disabled Children has been chosen as the official charity partner for the 2015 Chase Challenge in June.

The 10k event – on Saturday 6 June – is organised by Mash Running and more information is available by going to: www.mashrunning.co.uk

It costs £13.50 to enter and participants are encouraged to fundraise for Cannock-based Newlife Foundation which provides essential specialist equipment for children with disabilities and terminal illness throughout the UK. Fundraising will be restricted to support children in Staffordshire.

Newlife Foundation Deputy Fundraising Manager Philippa Gregory said: “Cannock Chase is a picturesque backdrop for this event, which will see hundreds of runners taking on a multi-terrain challenge. We hope lots of people will choose to support Newlife and the work we do with families across Staffordshire.”

“Last year’s Chase Challenge attracted 300 entrants – and 2015 promises to be bigger and better than ever.” said Mash Running’s race organisers Mark Mundy and Ashley Hodgkins. “The 10k loop starts at Cannock Chase Visitors’ Centre in Marquis Drive, Hednesford, and takes in open heath land and beautiful woodland trails. Whether a seasoned runner or a first timer the race has something for everyone and we are calling on as many local people as possible join us on the day and get behind this fabulous charity.”
