Toys R Us in Tamworth have raised £183 so far through collection cans to help children with disabilities or terminal illness in Staffordshire.

Toys R Us Store manager, Julie Nwosu said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank Newlife for their tremendous support and it is pleasing to be aware that all funds raised is going to the needs of disabled and terminally ill children. The awareness days in store have been successful in informing our customers about Newlife’s services and fundraising.”

Midlands Regional Fundraising & Awareness Manager at Newlife, Keleigh Tomlinson, said: “Children are at the heart of everything we do and I am delighted to receive support from Toys R Us where families can seek advice regarding Newlife’s services. Mums have also signed up to hold Sparkle Parties which is fantastic and Newlife leaflets are available in store too. All the money raised at Toys R Us will go towards funding specialist equipment for children with disabilities or terminal illness in Staffordshire.”
