TRY A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE AND HELP CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES

Have you ever dreamed of taking a bird’s eye view from almost two miles in the air before watching the landscape unfold from a viewpoint previously unavailable?

The Newlife Skydive at Tilstock Airfield, near Whitchurch takes place on September 12, 2015. Not only do you get the exhilarating feeling of flying through the clouds from over 10,000 feet at up to 120 mph, but also the opportunity to raise money for local children with disabilities.

A Tandem skydive is the easiest and most popular of all skydives. It requires only 30 minutes training before you get to jump strapped to your instructor. The BPA (British Parachute Association) qualified tandem instructor does all of the hard work for you.

Daniel Deans from Low Hill, Wolverhampton was involved in last year’s event and insisted: “It was the most amazing experience of my life.”

To take part you need to pledge to fundraise a minimum of £460 for Cannock based Newlife Foundation for Disabled Children and all of the monies raised will fund specialist equipment for children with disabilities.

The charity supports equipment provision for under-19s facing any significant disability, whether acquired through birth defect, prematurity, accident or illness.

Newlife, the largest charity funder of specialist equipment for children with disabilities and terminal illness in the UK recently launched funds for each county in the UK. It is an opportunity for local people to help local children with disabilities and every penny donated or fundraised in their county is guaranteed to help local children with disabilities and their family in the county.

Log on to www.newlifecharity.co.uk and click on your area on the front page map to find out more. Newlife can guarantee that 100% of donations made will be used to provide vital equipment for children with disabilities and terminal illness. Not a penny is taken out for anything else.

“I would like to encourage as many people to take part as possible,” said Newlife Events Manager, Philippa Gregory. “We held this event last year and everyone had a great day – it was a wonderful experience.

“We have to limit the amount of places so book soon to guarantee a place and help raise money for local children with disabilities.”
