University of Derby Students’ Union RAG President, Amy Horner, explains why they’ve decided to support Newlife Foundation.

Why you are supporting Newlife Foundation? Newlife Foundation are a crucial charity for those living with disabilities, particularly as children become disabled every single day. I support Newlife Foundation in particular because they are able to provide specialist equipment to local families, and they can tell you exactly who your money is going to. Not only this, but they can guarantee that 100% of the money goes to the cause, instead of being used for salaries and other costs.

Our involvement: The Derby RAG Committee has already hosted a Sparkle Party at the Students’ Union’s Christmas Market, which was a huge success. Our students’ loved the jewellery and they are all very much looking forward to our next event with Newlife Foundation, which will be a clothes sale taking place at our main campus in Derby. Click here to find out more.
