Time to Shine Month is a dedicated month to shine a spotlight on the needs of children with disabilities across the UK.
At Newlife, we are on a mission to empower all children with disabilities to live their lives to the fullest. There are now 1.7 million disabled and terminally ill children in the UK. Thousands of them rely on Newlife to get the equipment and support they need.
Time to Shine Month brings the school community together to raise much-needed funds to provide essential equipment such as wheelchairs, buggies, beds and car seats. Through Time to Shine Month we are celebrating diversity – the things which make us special and help each of us to shine in our own unique ways.
By supporting this campaign, you will enable children to understand and value differences and to champion inclusivity, all while raising funds for children living with disabilities.

Your support will change lives
Your support means that we can help more children like Autumn. Autumn is a happy little girl, but having Spina Bifida and Chari Malformation Type 2 means she is unable to walk, and in her manual wheelchair she couldn’t always keep up with her siblings and friends. But a powered wheelchair from Newlife is helping her take part in everything.
“She absolutely loves her powered wheelchair, it’s made her life so much easier. She uses it a lot for going out and about and it’s so useful, especially if we are going somewhere for a full day out as it means she can take part in so much more. She loves it so much she would be in it all day every day she could!”
