Child & Family Support

Newlife’s Child and Family Support Team are the first port of call for anyone looking to find out more about our services.

As parents, carers and families of children with disabilities or life-limiting conditions, there are times when you need a little extra support. And as no two families’ needs are the same, our friendly team is on hand to provide information and help which is specific to your situation as far as possible.

Whether you want to apply for equipment through our Specialist Equipment Grant or Emergency Equipment Loan services, or need information and support from our professional and experienced nurses, our Child and Family Support Team are here to help.

Can I apply for equipment?

If your child is under the age of 19, has a significant disability and is a resident in the UK, then you can apply for equipment from Newlife.

Equipment services we offer

Equipment Grants – for the long-term equipment needs of children or young people.

Emergency Equipment Loan – a fixed 6 month loan of equipment from our loan suite – see our loan suite here.

Nurse Helpline

Our Nurse Helpline

Our Child & Family Support team provide supportive care through a national Nurse Helpline which offers information to families and professionals caring for disabled and terminally ill children.

Qualified and experienced Nurses are available on Newlife’s free Nurse Helpline to provide information, help on the application process and compassionate support.

If you have any queries regarding an essential specialist equipment application, please contact the Newlife Nurse Helpline Reception Team who will be able to connect you to our Nurses by arranging a Nurse call back or booking an appointment to assist you with your enquiry.
