Get ready to make waves for a great cause! Entries are now open for SPLASH!tonbury, Staffordshire’s first ever open water swimming festival and charity fundraiser – and it’s set to be an unforgettable day of fun, fitness and fundraising.
What is SPLASH!tonbury?
SPLASH!tonbury is an open water swimming festival; a day-long team challenge inviting swimmers to take on as many laps of the lake as they can in 12 hours – all to raise vital funds so Newlife can help more children with disabilities.
Whether you’re an open water enthusiast, a weekend dipper or someone looking for a unique way to give back, this is your chance to make a splash in the purpose-built lake at Pillaton Farm in Penkridge.
How It Works
- Teams of 3 to 6 swimmers
- Relay-style laps of a 250m lake – a clean, purpose-built manmade lake
- Swim from sunrise to sunset and beyond 🌅🌙
- Take turns in the water, rest and refuel in the event camp with food, drinks, live music and more
- No entry fee – we just ask that each swimmer commits to raising £150 to help Newlife provide equipment such as specialist beds, buggies, wheelchairs and car seats for children with disabilities

Why It Matters
Every pound raised will go towards helping us to fund:
- Specialist beds, wheelchairs, car seats and buggies
- Emergency equipment loans for medically fragile children
- Sensory toy kits through their Play Therapy Pod service
- A nurse-run helpline for parents and carers
Each lap you swim will help provide life-changing equipment for children with disabilities.
