The ‘can – do’ers’ project team from Trafford College raised £111 for Newlife after holding a fundraising sale at its Altrincham campus.

Students sold sparkle jewellery and craft items which they made themselves, as well as holding a raffle to raise money for children with disabilities or terminal illness in Greater Manchester.

Claire Kelly, Fundraising & Awareness Manager at Newlife said: ‘The team had a great day team building, putting their own planning , communication , organisational and customer service skills into practice as part of their volunteering project and their coursework. Well done!’
