Newlife Regional Fundraising and Awareness Managers, David Reeves and Caroline Artschan, attended the RAG Conference 2015 at the University of Leeds campus.

David and Caroline were running a stand to raise awareness of Newlife Foundation and how other RAG societies, student-run charitable fundraising organisations, can get involved and support Newlife. David also ran two seminars during the conference, one on transparency of donations and how important Newlife’s 100% restricted giving is, and the other on how students can lead change in the charity sector.

David said: “The RAG Conference was a fantastic opportunity for us to show how students can have a very real, direct impact on the lives of children with disabilities or terminal illness. We’re looking forward to working with a number of different RAG committees and helping them change the lives of children local to them.”
