JUMP TO IT AND HELP DISABLED CHILDREN

Would you take the plunge to raise money to help local children with disabilities and terminal illness?

Newlife Foundation – the UK’s leading charity funder of specialist equipment for children with disabilities and terminal illness – is looking for daredevil fundraisers to take part in a sponsored 10,000ft parachute jump from Langar Airfield in Nottinghamshire on Sunday 25 September.

All participants are asked to raise a minimum of £395, and every penny raised over the minimum will be further contributing to Newlife. Individuals can ring-fence their sponsorship to help disabled children in the UK county of their choice.

Newlife Foundation regional fundraiser David Reeves said: “A skydive is a great way to fundraise! Not only are you achieving something incredible in your personal life, and perhaps facing a fear, you are also changing the lives of local children who perhaps wouldn’t be able to do something like this themselves.”

“I’ve done a skydive myself, and despite my fear of heights it genuinely was a fantastic experience that I’d happily repeat – I really recommend giving it a go!”

Deadline for applying is 20 July 2016.

There are other exciting ways to raise money for Newlife, including baking cakes and holding sparkle parties. Click here to see the various ways you can get involved or call 01543 431 444.
