TOP DESIGNER BRANDS TO BE AUCTIONED OFF TO SUPPORT DISABLED CHILDREN

From Louis Vuitton purses to Chanel shoes – fashion lovers will be able to get their hands on high-end designer brands at bargain prices at a unique online charity auction, all whilst helping support disabled children in need.

Newlife the Charity for Disabled Children is auctioning off more than 300 designer fashion items and accessories from 10am on Friday, October 2, to fund vital equipment for children with disabilities.

The online auction, which is being held in conjunction with Cuttlestones Auctioneers, will see bags, clothes, shoes and accessories up for grabs.

Some of the designer brands on sale will include Gucci, Chanel, Vivienne Westwood, Hugo Boss, Prada, Versace, Moncler and more.

Larissa Evans, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, is urging people to get bidding to support children like her daughter, after the charity loaned her an emergency car seat and bed.

Summer has an undiagnosed genetic condition which has caused her to have delayed development and no concept of danger, so the equipment helped keep her safe at night and on car journeys.

Larissa said: “Summer still needs a lot of support and it was difficult to keep her safe in the car, especially when we go on long journeys.

“She loves being in the car and is much happier now she is comfortable and safe. We recently took a trip down to Devon and it was perfect – we could not do family trips like that without Newlife’s help.

“They also provided us with a specialist loan bed after our permanent was delayed during lockdown. We wouldn’t have been able to afford the equipment ourselves so Summer would have gone without if it wasn’t for their support.

“Bidding on some of the items in the upcoming fashion auction will mean Newlife can be there for future families who desperately need emergency support.”

It is hoped that fashion lovers will bid generously so Newlife can continue to help families who need its support as it attempts to recover the £2.5 million lost due to the pandemic.

Bidders can view the items that will be auctioned off now and bidding will go live on Friday, October 2.

Mrs Sheila Brown, CEO and co-founder of Newlife, said: “This is an unmissable opportunity to secure a special something for yourself or as a gift nice and early for Christmas.

“Join online and bid for some of the biggest brands at bargain prices – there’ll be bags, clothes, shoes accessories and more up for grabs!

“As we recover from the impact caused by the lockdown, your support will mean we can continue to help change the lives of disabled children in need across the UK.”

Newlife’s unique commercial operation sees more than 240 leading high street retailers and manufacturers donate surplus items, faulty products and customer returns, which prevents them from ending up in landfill.

Money raised in the stores goes towards its charity work to provide vital specialist disability equipment to disabled and terminally ill children across the UK.
