WAITROSE OTLEY SUPPORTS NEWLIFE

Waitrose in Otley, Leeds donated £418 through its Community Matters scheme to Newlife the Charity for Disabled Children.

Every month the branch donates £1,000 between three local good causes and recently Newlife was one of the three chosen. At the checkout, customers received a token and then placed it in the box of the good cause that they wanted to support. The more tokens the charity gets, the bigger the donation they receive.

All money donated will help children with disabilities or terminal illness in West Yorkshire.

Deb Robinson at Waitrose said: “Thank you to all the people who have taken the time to choose our Charity.’
